Can't believe it!

My girl has her first tooth. Yes, it has poked through. It's on the bottom left... or right.. have to double check and write it in her baby book!!

My girl is sleeping in her crib. She took the transition better than her momma and daddy did. We spent that first night sleeping like crap!! She slept from 10 til 1, then had to move her a little and back out like a light... slept til 4 or 6, fed her, back to bed until 8!!! What would be better? Oh She is an awesome little girl!!! I am SO very very proud of her!!!

If you had told me,

If someone told me when I was 25, that I would be 32(very very close to 33), sitting in Outlook with my 5 3/4 month old baby while my husband started building the bins we would finish together in June. I would have told them they were crazy. I may have told them I wasn't having any children..... I may have even told them I was never getting married. But to think, here I am, in a motel suite, looking after my daughter, thinking about my wonderful husband......and realizing how lucky I am, Blessed even.. to have such a beautiful daughter and a loving(though smart arsed)husband that I love to bits. I mean... I could just as easily had some other life. I really almost never did meet my James... He was another long distance relationship... that I never wanted to do again. But we met as friends... well.. one look at him and friends only, was done with. Dumped the sorry ass SOB I was sorta seeing at the time... and the rest is history. Here I sit, plans of more babies. Bins to build. A house to build and make a home(at some near point I hope, but time will tell). Things are good. And yes.. I may spend my very first mothers day(this Sunday) in a motel looking after my girl and my man... but what would be better?

Hectic?

Well... lets see. Went home for a quick spurt. Left on, Friday, I think. We drove Friday. Saturday was laundry. Sunday was a trip to the farm to see mom and dad. Monday we were off to Yorkton(taxes yeah....). Tuesday we were supposed to head back here in the afternoon.... I had to much to get sorted out yet.. dishes to do, things to sort. So, we didn't leave until Wednesday. Even then it was later in the day than intended.. but man we were tired and slept in a wee bit... then had to load the van and do all that stuff. So, was a longish drive back but we made it. The weather has not cooperated since we have been back. Between the wind and the chilly weather.. not much done. We are both a little addicted to Farm Town on Face book. I will say though that James is more so... he has the bigger farm and the higher level and all that good stuff. LOL Which is really cool.. he gets to get all the good stuff :) Well.. since the update.. he has something to work for! Anyways, Back in Outlook. Doing good. Gwyn started a little wee bit of Rice cereal now.... she loves it! She really likes this eating thing. Other than that things are pretty darn quiet.

Hey all, I just want to say... I am sorry to all those blogs I have not visited in... forever! I have been busy. We have been here there and every wheres.... Got sucked into a new game... or 2 on Face book.. Oh my... yes... time suckers!!!
Anyways, Here are pics of my girl in her saucer. She is loving it. Though she doesn't bounce in it. She sits and plays.. happily. She had that big round thing that looks like a Lolly in her hand and pulled toward her licking it like one would a Lolly... it was hilarious!

April is here....

Can you believe it? I couldn't believe on the 23rd of March that my girl was 4months old.. now she is 4mo. plus!!! She is too cute... the little brown and pink outfit was yesterdays(the camera date is out... fixed today though)... the overalls.. were a trial outfit, they are so close to fitting... and very cute!

Catchya later... my girl needs a bath... as far as she is concerned.. it's a swim! And she loves it!

6 mo. at 4 mo. Who does it?

I don't know who does the sizing for babies. My little one is 4months old. She is 12lbs. She is in the 25th percentile, that means 25% of babies are smaller, and 75% are bigger. So, what baby on earth did they make the sizes on? She has outgrown her 6 month sleepers, which are supposed to be 3-6 month size. She is wearing a 6-9 sleeper, and has cloths which are 6-12month size to fit. She is very lean for a baby as far as I can tell.. but healthy lean. Now what baby did they base those sizes on if she is 4 months and 12lbs and has outgrown that size? Madness... But she is growing and healthy and beautiful.. so I guess.. If I have to buy cloths in sizes that don't really make sense I will. Just wonder about those companies....

Aunti W. and G. had a nap. When G. woke up she had a snuggle with mom.

Nice quiet day at home... though we were trying to get a few, little things done... :)

We were in the city for immunization for G. Did some shopping. G was enjoying herself and helping Grandma K. shop for her. She was already thumbing through the sale rack. Grandma was looking and holding G and G was flipping through the stuff on the rack... she didn't like any of it though! LOL We did find a few things that she liked and we brought home...

Gotta run. G is hungry!

Gwyn today started out in the onesie Auntie N(it's actually Great Auntie N.) got for her. Paired with black pants.. too cute.... but she messed the pants and managed not to mess the top... The saying is very cute.. but, does not suit our girl at all.. She doesn't seem to test us. She only cries or screams if there really is something wrong! Such a wonderful girl we have!

Tiz cold. This morning..... -20cel., -30cel. with the wind chill. It has now warmed up to -14 and -20cel. with the wind chill. So, another day for indoor sports.... :)

Oh.......

First off, Knit Witch had a great post. Loved it. It reminded me of Darci. Darci is a motivational speaker, whom I worked with(before she was a speaker) while I was young and impressionable. I learned a lot from her. And Knit Witches post today... reminded me of her.

Beyond that. Today, I could so pack it all up and go home. I know I know it would be nasty to leave James all on his own, and for me to be on my own... but I would have so liked to be at home. My girl has has a bad start today. Lets just say, into outfit #3 before 9 a.m. Yesterday we had a 3 outfit day too...

Well I hear my Gwyn stirring.. so will have to run... might catch you later!

Bouncing like Tigger

Well, our girl doesn't like to be confined. So, we were out in the city and picked up a bouncer for her. We also found this fun Tigger sleeper.. we bought it in a 12 month size as she is getting so very very long!!!! She is just fitting her 6 month size and has grown out of a few 6 month sized things! Gwyn sure smiles for her daddy.... he was making faces at her as she swung and bounced in her new seat.

She sure likes that little seat. I have the seat in the wash right now... so she will be able to play in it again in no time! Only thing.. it will only be good at home or at Grandma and Grandpa K's. It needs a 1/2 inch trim on the door frame to hold it. I don't think the motel in Outlook has that.

These couple days home, we have been home right? Have been good. Back to Outlook tomorrow. James wants to get back to work. The weather is supposed to be much nicer too!

So, today is laundry and packing day.... oh and tidy up day... so.. lots to do.
