Well, before the rain today...... we got... the bin lifted and about 3 of the 6 sheets hung. Then it was into the raincoat. Finished putting that ring on, tightened, put the bin on the cone. The bolts need tightened yet... as we stopped and went for lunch. Baby belly wasn't liking the tightness of the rain jacket around. So after lunch it was raining a bit harder.. so.. we quit thinking if it quit we would go back... it was a pissy wet icky day all day!!!!!! So, One to build yet! and 2 to put on a cone. Home is in site.. but probably not tomorrow... DAMMIT!!!!
Anyways... will catch you later.

One down, 24 to go!
Hey, This morning we managed to get a 18' diameter, 5 ring bin up. It is up and on the cone.... Hubby just needs to put the eye bolt in the back of the cone to tie up the rope.... and it's done. done. It feels so good to have that one done! I think it's encouraging, even though we have... hmmm 24 more of the same to go... but we are getting there!
Gotta run! Catch ya later!

So, you have been waiting for pictures eh????
Well, Hello again... long time no see.... hmmm that doesn't really fit... long time no chatter... on my part or yours I guess is more likely. I have an excuse though.... we have been away working and have not had a good Internet connection to be able to post up some stuff here...... even chatter is a trying thing on the wee bit of Internet I've seen. So, today I will bombard you with pictures.... LOL I hope you enjoy them... Let me know! I mean really... talk to me... that's why I have it so anyone can leave a comment... REALLY!
So, this little guy above... not so little really. I took a picture to find out it was a gopher. From where I was standing he looked like a stump sticking up... and I knew there were no stumps in this yard!!!
Below is the first 2 bins we got up, in Outlook. If you look close you can see an extra window in the 3rd ring. This farmer wanted to be able to see if the bin was just full enough to cover the rocket air inside. You see the next ring doesn't have a roof yet either....
Then hubby went and built the whole bunch of 15 foot diameter roofs. Then we got to work and built them. I have to admit.... we were faster some days than others. We would put up 2 one day, 1 the next, then have a beautiful cool day and put up 3!!!! yes 3! then the next day we did 1, because my body said that was enough! So, bins are going up in bouts and spurts. But the 15ft diameter bins are all up now. On to the 18's... when we head back tomorrow.
Above is 4 bins across the south side of the yard. Below is the bins that go along the west side of the yard. We did have them in a better line than that, and there is one hiding behind the other 2 that are pulled out. We had to pull those 2 out because they were very unstable in the line. So, pulled them out to level them out so that it would take more to take them over.
This is what the South West corner of the yard looks like!
This is the 18 foot rows. This being the North west corner....
The North east corner. North being the sliver of hopper cones you can see.. on the left side of the picture. So, needless to say there is a damn good chunk of work to get done yet!
And here... the latest ultrasound pics.... very cool. Though I believe last times were much clearer on the the full baby body pics... but, I think baby was moving pretty good! Had a heart rate of 144.... so, it was up there...
Above is a full body but with a hand in front of the face.... the below one baby has both hand in front of the face I thinks.... Little boxer maybe? Or camera shy? :D
The next strip of 3 is really good... the top pic is the arm stretched out, the second is baby feet!!! so neat!, the bottom one is how baby is laying in the belly. Face down, you can see the spine really well. Baby is about 13oz. right now. And growing daily! :) I am getting excited... can you tell? Just a little maybe? :P

This was a really neat picnic table we saw at Dafoe. We wanted to go ask what they were asking for it but... the mosquito's were so bad I could roll down the window only long enough to take the pic... LOL Hubby went to look better but I was not getting out to get eaten alive!!! LOL
This is the first baby sweater I made. It's the rectangle pattern from the Better homes and gardens page. (Thank you Pauly) It turned out well.

And Last but not least.. remember those socks I told you about... The ones for my mom that were getting to be obscenely late for her birthday? I finished them.. they are in her hands now... so she can wear them on a chilly day or wait until fall when she will really need them! LOL I love the self striping yarn... it turned out beautiful!
Well that is about all that is exciting out there... at least for me.... I could ramble on more but... I will let you all absorb this first. How is that? LOL

:D :) :D :) (: O: (:
Hey yous,
Well, Had our first prenatal class on Monday. There were little things in it that were interesting... other things I had read about already. Did you know you can get tetness(spelling?) from working in the dirt? I thought it had to come from rusty metals... odd. Anyways.. good thing to know right? I think so... So, that was Mom and my Monday night.
Tuesday, Mom and I took off to Moose Jaw to see my sis! Not before we walked the dog though... and then we went and got the oil changed on the car then picked up my sis... Man!!! SHE LOOKS AWESOME!!! (she is shrinking in the good way!! Keep up the good work if your reading Sis!! LOVE YOU!!!) So we did some shopping in Moose Jaw, had lunch, iced tea at her place then at... hmmm almost 5 I would say, headed back to Regina... :) I laid down and put my feet up.. that was a lot of time on my feet!!!! (they are tender today.. but all good!!) I think the walking is good for me though... I found a bench here and there to park my ass on! LOL Just to rest my poor feet... I didn't swell up either so all is good.(I know some of you don't want to hear that but I know some of you really really do... so.. sorry for those who don't and your welcome to those that do!) So, spent the evening with my feet up.... all good!
Today, have some stuff to get done here in Regina. Hopefully get to see my sis and the boys here in town tonight.. see how her schedule goes though!
I made the 5 rectangle baby sweater from the Better homes and gardens website. Not sure I love it, but I do like it. I will be attempting a Diaper bag sweater next I thinks.... and maybe Dad's Christmas socks(while I feel like it). I am sorry no pics of the rectangle sweater.. I hope later though.... Long as I remember.
Hubby and I are going to ask what we are having now. I have gotten impatient. And he is a planner. SO, in 2 weeks if they can tell us... we shall know :) all good!!! In other baby news... I think I am starting to feel some kicks and such! Kinda neat... sometimes I am not sure if it's belly bubbles or baby, though other times it feels kinda definitive of not being belly bubbles.
Well, will talk to you all later! Love ya much!

Outlook, Garden, Flowers... and that kinda stuff... LOL
Well, we are in Outlook now building bins. I guess I should really say, Hubby is building bins... I am doing very little. The heat just kills me. We have a little bunny friend at the yard.. comes over to visit almost everyday.
This is how the garden is coming. Looks good... for the most part. A couple things are kind of week but, could be that it isn't a good year for them or that they take longer to come along. We shall see how it goes.
This is the field of Daisies that were out in front of the house..... somebody mowed them down.....but he didn't like them so... and the weeds were in underneath.

My painted mums came back to bloom another year... very happy it seems so many blooms! Mind you I missed when they were new and fresh so you get a picture of them looking a little wilty and tired.
These are in the flower bed too.... I don't know if they are painted mums or daisies or what... but they are pretty peaking out!
Evil Chives! See them! They look so good and great and grow wonderful.. trouble is they grow way too well!!!! they have spread all over!! They are just crazy!!
So that it. All I have for pics right now... I suppose I could have taken pics of the yard in outlook...but it would be kind of boring as all that is there is hopper cones with bin packages in front of them.... maybe next time. OH AND! I forgot to take pics of the socks! I finished them.. but will take a pic and show you next time.
Anybody know where THE WEST COAST DIVA went? Her blog is down and I miss her. :( Let me know if you find her.
As for me, 4 months and a wee bit gone... 5 and a bit to go. I am glad our summers are shorter.. I know I know! How dare I say that.. but even the fall temps of mid twenties(Celsius) would be much nicer. I know I know... cool temps will be here soon enough! But I am cooking! Glad I broke down and bought a swimsuit... LOL and no, no pics of that! Maybe a pic of me later.... if it turns out okish. I had family/friends on Face book request a updated pic... apparently a 3 year old wedding pic is out of date... ROTFL Oh well.
Anyways, beyond the lack of heat tolerance all is good! Catch you all later!

Baby Robins... Bins....
Hey, Have some more babies for you to see. Remember the nest pics with the eggs... here are the babies that came from that!

On other exciting news.... We finished Tugaske's Bins. Now we are off and running to Outlook. I really should say that Hubby and his dad finished Tugaske's bins. I was a little under the weather and they took off and did 4 bins one day, 2 bins the next between rains... skipped a day and did 5 bins.. mind you the roof on these bins were done complete already. Just sidewall and mounting to finish them... but they sure were speedy about it! Feels good to be done those ones... will feel even better when we are done the Outlook bins! :)
Anyhow, I have things to get done.. so off and running... will catch you all later.

Doctor's and ultrasounds.....
Hey,
I went to the doctor on Tuesday. All is going well. She said to keep up the good work with the baby growing. So all is right on track.
Yesterday, I went for an ultrasound. That was great! The technician was wonderful!!!!! She showed me arms, legs, spine, face, heartbeat, and much more. The little one wasn't being very co-operative though... LOL jumping around in there... what usually takes about 1/2hour took more like a full hour... though I can't say I will complain about the extra time seeing baby!!! So cool they have this technology now... MOM was super excited to see!!! I have pics for hubby who was working on the farm and at home and couldn't get away. Dad is very excited to see pics too... according to mom who said he sounded excited to see! When I get home I will scan the pics and show you all... they are neat... not the clearest.. but still super neat!!! better than nothing!!! Which is what they used to get!
OK. After the ultrasound we went to see my auntie to show her the pics. And see her new flooring... beautiful flooring in her house.... anyways... while we were having tea she told us about a used baby stuffs store right by her place... so we went over after tea to take a look. I bought a couple of those nighty sleepers and some nice diaper type shirts... will show you again when I get home. We went to Costco and had a hot dog for supper.... I know not the healthiest but I had been craving one for over a week... so there I had one.. then we went to Winner's and I bought a sleeper set that had the sleeper, the diaper shirt, a pair of footed pants, hat, burp cloth and a bib! Too cute in the sweetest green!!!
So that is my excitement.... I know... Baby nuts.... Will have socks(mom's socks) to show you soon too I hope!!! Then I will be knitting some baby stuffs... I hope!!! LOL
Talk to you all again soon!!!!

To the powerful women.
Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning,
'Oh shit...she's awake!!
Satan shudders & says...
'Oh shit...she's awake!!

Food for Thought
Explains why Saskatchewan has no Daylight Saving Time...
Wise Old Indian When told the reason for daylight saving time the old Indian said, "Only a white man would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of a blanket and have a longer blanket."

XXX RATED - IMAGES MAY BE DISTURBING TO SOME VIEWERS!!!!!
My Husband the mighty hunter!
Missed one of the two prairie chickens!
This is a new way to hunt a chicken... hit it with the car and have it's head get stuck in your hood so you snap it's neck.

Missed one of the two prairie chickens!
This is a new way to hunt a chicken... hit it with the car and have it's head get stuck in your hood so you snap it's neck.Luckily no damage to the vehicle... but the poor thing hung there a long time before we stopped and popped the hood to set the poor thing out. I tell ya... that chicken hanging there was making me feel a bit sick... at the same time we were laughing at the poor thing for the way it stuck to the car... odd.
I just think hubby had to one up our friend whom had hit a thumper the night before while we were out.... it was a thumper cuz it made a pretty darn good thump and broke our friends grill... ouch! Hubby got the chicken... no damage! All good.... I told him he wasn't allowed to hunt deer with my car!
Robins...
Well, as the pictures before... there is a nest on the chute of this bin... as you can see now.. there is the nest and the momma robin....
Momma robin did some chirping at me, so I made my pictures quick and painless..... just not to disturb her too much....

Hubby says there are 3 eggs in this nest.. though the picture only shows 2.. there may be more by now...as it seems to take a day er so between eggs.
This is the nest on the ducting.... see momma in there?
She was staying pretty good..... mind you I wasn't getting all that close.. I zoomed in good with the camera for these shots of her.
She did however take flight and I got closer to get a couple pics.

That's my birdie excitement.... will be neat when the babies are out!

Rockets and Roofs
Well, Here you go. As promised, better pictures of the rockets(aeration). This one below is the rocket moved out of the way after hubby figured where the duct had to sit. He then drew a rectangle on the cone so he would know where to cut the hole for the ducting.
He started the cuts by drilling holes at the corners(very hard to turn corners when cutting).
Here he has one side cut.
Here the rocket is stood up and ready for the bolts that hold the feet and the ducting to be installed.
This is the outside ducting and the angle iron that supports it.
This is what the rocket looks like inside once it is completely installed.
This is what you see from the outside when the rocket is completely installed.
Here is a row of Hubby's hard work.....
The roof he didn't quite finish before we had to run home for a couple things....
Here is the beginning of a robin's nest under one of the hopper cones... should be neat to see if eggs appear.
Quite the handy work...
Ahh and here are the flowers my DH bought for me. They are beautiful. They are a few days old here and do show some of their age... but they are beautiful...
This one opened up beautifully! Love them! Love the Husband that gave them to me....
Well... that's about it. I hope you enjoyed the pictures.... Will catchya all again soon.....
